Being An Adult With Autism: Social Support Group

If you’re looking for a group where you can relate to others like you, discuss and learn from each other’s struggles in navigating a neurotypical world, and learn to appreciate the human variable of being on the ASD spectrum, this group is for you.
For the first time within the group experience, there will be a series of classes where speakers will come to educate the group about how to address issues in life that is a part of the human experience. We will have classes embedded within the semester schedule to learn more about topic such as finances (including budgeting and investing), basic plumbing skills necessary for minor issues, and cooking, among other subjects. Process/support groups for MEN struggling with infidelity, problematic sexual behaviors, sex and porn addictions
Meets Tuesdays 5:30 pm to 6:45 pm
Individual therapy is not required to participate. We require one intake appointment and a 90-day commitment. This commitment helps ensure group cohesion and safety. Group is a 75-minute session. Each group is led by counselors trained as sex addiction therapists (CSAT) and partner trauma therapist (CPTT & APSATS) by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP).
The neurobiological basis of trauma and addiction are the foundation of our approach. Addiction is viewed as a behavioral problem not a moral failure. Community is the anecdote to addiction and betrayal. We offer a professional and discreet environment to find your new people, places, and patterns.
