About Kris:
Life is a series of challenges. The hardships and traumas we experience change the structure of our brains. The work we do in therapy to heal also changes brain structure. Rather than adopting a victim mentality, consider the challenges in life as an opportunity for growth. Change occurs in one of three ways: crisis, chance, and choice. Often the chaos in life is beyond our control and is the result of someone else’s choice. We did not cause the chaos, we cannot control it, and we cannot cure it. We can recognize the capacity for change and make a conscious choice to make changes that move us in the direction of our determination.
Kris embraces this model of change and strives to work with individuals and couples to create proactive change.
